So if the engine needs to be replaced anyways...why not 2zz now?

Money and time availability, mostly. I had already committed to another project when this came along so I've spent what I would have put into the 2zz swap. Also, I want to drive it sooner rather than later so I'll just put in a junkyard 1zz and drive it for a while until my project funds are replenished and/or I find a great deal on a 2zz donor.

I figure that way I'll be practiced at yanking the motor, so that part won't be a challenge at least.
