This is the sort of thing I get excited about, buy, drag home and then realize I'm in way above my skills etc. Then I let it sit for a while before selling it on at a significant loss.
Then I take the proceeds and repeat the process all over...

My wife short cuts this process by utilizing the "power-of-veto." It can come in handy when my eyes are bigger than my skill/bank account/time...

For me the veto comes in the form of my garage being 25 ft deep so nothing larger than a midsize SUV can fit inside for a project car lol. I live in the suburbs so I can't have a giant rusty thing parked out front of my house.
