I just placed a bid on eBay for aircraft gauges that I think would look cool in a car.
Aircraft gauges can be had with two needles on the same dial. Makes monitoring multiple engines easier. Also cool if you want to monitor pressure at the turbo and pressure in the intake manifold.
In two weeks, I will rearend someone because I was too busy watching my new boost gauge.
Hope they don't run on 28v...
Mechanical, unlit gauges don't care about voltage.
Guess I'm used to c130s and a10s. Not many mechanical gauges on them.
I'm getting tired of all the projects. I just want to be able to drive my cars without fear of something breaking or needing to work on it. I like my beater (1989 Caprice wagon) so much that it is now not really a beater because I keep fixing and improving everything...so I need another beater. I enjoy fast cars, autocrossing, and track days, but have very little desire to actually go racing. I'll stick to racing dirt bikes.

I also believe that every vehicle looks better after a liberal rally treatment.
I hate black wheels.

I'm 46, purchased my first car when I was 15. I love cars but have only owned 6 cars my whole life. I still possess 5 of them including the first one. And I must admit that I still own 2 of the others just because I don't want to deal with selling them.

I have bought 5 cars in the last 9-10 months. You sir are the anomaly around here.
Analysis paralysis . . . I have it bad. Instead of actually turning a berkin wrench I get stuck on the insignificant details

My wife is 53 and bought her first car at 16. She has only owned 5 cars since her first car; 1970 Ford Capri 4-speed. (1979 Camaro, 1986 Grand Am, 1994 S10 Blazer, 2003 Trailblazer)
