The truck is a '96 4.3 4wd with an automatic. When I start it up and shift from Park to Drive or Reverse, the idle temporarily increases 3-5 hundred RPM and then evens-out to normal. It can take a second or two before the surge occurs.
Troubleshooting research indicates a vacuum leak or (maybe) faulty MAF or MAP sensors.
Anyone here have similar issues and what was the solution(s)?
