While it is no guarantee they will actually produce it VW has officially file patents for the NCC(New Concept Coupe) which is often the first step in building the car.

Much likely an 8/10 A5 with dubya badges (we doan need no stinkin badjis) with a transverse mounted engine versus a longitudinal mounted unit.
But yeah, pretty much no ;)
In appearance, yes.... in construction, not likely. Compared to a Jetta, the A5 is freakin' huge (they're everywhere around here...)
Handsome car, but the taillights look awfully similar to an A4. Brand DNA results from kissing cousins?
I just want them to bring over the frickin' new Scirocco.
Not really stirring my coffee. What's up with taking these practical cars and making them impractical but not more capable?
Accord coupe...really?
Altima coupe...ok while it is cool that they mimicked the 350Z it is still a bland grocery getter even with the powerful 3.5L.
Am I on an island here?
It is not horrible, but I I think VW is losing some of its distinctiveness. I'm not sure why I'd want a two-door Jetta over a GTI, either.
robert
the altima is kinda attractive. disclaimer;Nissan fan here. would have been better in rwd or with an awd version - reminds me of the Calibra, which got awd too late and too little development.

It's very weird to me, but I find the Accord coupes to be really good looking cars.
Plus, it's easy to troll Mercedes owners.
I guess it must be my mullet. I prefer coupes over sedans and hatches. If my Cobalt ran out (and held the resale value) of my GLI I would be a very happy guy. I prefer Mustang trunks to Mustang hatches. I prefer 2 door 1981 Granadas to 1981 Granada wagons.
