Just bought my $2013 Challenger for $483

Dan!!!!! Where you been? Great to see you getting the car back together. I was cleaning out the shed and found a box of parts from the twin turbo Mitsu motor and thaught of you.

I don't mean to be "that guy", but I don't think it is grey. I think Per has previously ruled against the exact same situation.

I'd say put it back to the condition it was in pre-wreck with no budget hit, but then restart the budget at the same point it was at before the wreck.

Now one way to do it would be to offer it up for sale to us for the $483 and if no one bites you have established your price.

I would say that you can rebuild it to the way it was before the wreck.

Now you dun messed up the curve. Before you he was going to be able to claim $600 for FMV.

i've been away for a couple days, otherwise i would've already been that guy. if the deal was not available to the general public, either keep your old budget or start with retail FMV. Per has ruled on this subject in the past.

I'm keepin my old budget ;-)

I'd value it as actual market value before the wreck minus $483 as it sits today. It just seems fair to me somehow.
