I don't mean to be "that guy", but I don't think it is grey. I think Per has previously ruled against the exact same situation.

I'd say put it back to the condition it was in pre-wreck with no budget hit, but then restart the budget at the same point it was at before the wreck.
Now one way to do it would be to offer it up for sale to us for the $483 and if no one bites you have established your price.
If that thing shows up at the Challenge with no deer-related decorations, I'll be sad. Venison steaks for a judge bribe? Antlers on the front? Something please!

i've been away for a couple days, otherwise i would've already been that guy. if the deal was not available to the general public, either keep your old budget or start with retail FMV. Per has ruled on this subject in the past.
