The front end is definately a Jap copy of the Triumph TR7/8. Absolutely no doubt. No wonder I like these cars so much. Best Supra's ever:-)
The fun for me is learning a new car, the Corolla has a personality I will remember forever but it is time for someone else to enjoy it!

I second this sentiment, but I am unsure if I am willing to go to Hell for it.
I remember a review from the era. They talked about how porky the car was until it got on track. Then it came alive feeling like you could just toss it around the course. I suspect the double A-Arm suspension at all 4 corners just did the job better than the RX7 and 944's strut/trailing arm stuff.
