Was able to pick up the vanity plates today. We'll see how the front tow hook mount I've got works out-- did not want to drill the front to install a bracket.
Love the new ride. You did well. I'd take the Supra over the i8 any day.
I told my wife I wanted to buy a Cayman (used 2010ish) earlier this year. She said we should probably wait until the kids are out of college. Fast forward a couple months and while we are dropping the boy off at college we saw a new Supra. She said "you could buy one of those..." I had to explain that the Supra would cost MORE than that used Cayman I was drooling over.
For documentation purposes, here's what's going to have to pass for beauty shots after the first wash of the car. Also includes pictures of all the carbon fiber gee-gaws this thing is decorated with-- it's sort of a sticker package, but carbon fiber instead of stickers.
