I was on top of the garages. Absolute made house, wall to wall people and the teams could barely muscle their way through the crowds.

Is the new GTP Cadillac engine overhead cam or pushrod?

5.5-liter DOHC V8. It's the only naturally aspirated engine in the GTP class.

One BMW had hybrid issues early. They don't know what went wrong but they changed a lot of hybrid parts and sent it back out.

I wonder if it is the C8.R's LT6 but with a crossplane crankshaft etc.

Good question. It was created independently of the 5.5-liter in the Corvette, according to Cadillac.
