Found this over on the Jalopy journal. Short version: Some guy finds this old rusty shell of a car.....turns out to be (very likely anyway) an old Dodge show car called the Charger III. Linky:

Put modern rubber up under the body and hinge the top to the front and it just might work today.

I find most of the threads on the Hamb to be pretty annoying. But I love reading it just for threads like this, where someone has found a car/part, and regardless of how obscure it is they can have it identified ridiculously quick.
Looks like it's a replica. Notice it doesn't have the spoilers/air brakes.
If they could recreate a Charger 3 from that though, it would be awesome!
Later in the thread they say it probably came from Spaulding Dodge and was one of their unused race bodies pulled from the original Charger 3 concept car.
