At first I thought this was a sequential box but then I realized that guy is just a master as his craft. Also, his Lancia makes happy noises.

Ok, so I say the clip is sped up. Unless under that driving suit that guy is wearing this:
My hand certainly cannot move that fast.
I could do that to certain cars. I'm unsure if i would hit EVERY gear the entire run in that situation. But i can certainly shift that fast.

Yeah, and I'll second that the video is sped up a bit. I can move my hand that fast, but my synchros wouldn't enjoy it. I'd miss more than the occasional gear thrashing it that hard.
The video could be sped up, but i find it pretty believable.
I can easily shift like that in my insight from front to back, and could do it from back to front if i modified the shifter.
My old caravan could also be shifted like that if i modded the shifter.
The speed of his hand is not really crazy at all.. to me i see the two major factors there are how 'certain' the shift gates feel in the shifter, and how much force is coming back through the shifter. I like driving small, fwd, cable shifted cars because after you put good bushings in them they can be shifted very fast and lightly because the components are light (inertia). On the other hand, you CANT shift like that in a cherokee or a camaro or an f150, the components are too big, take too long to spin up or down, and you have to put too much force on the shifter. If you try to shift a bigger, rwd car like that, you will seriously punch a hole in the dashboard and mess up your hand if it slips off the shifter because thats the kind of force you'd need.
But in a light car with a very well-done shifter, i think its completely attainable.
Completely doable in a Civic. Hydro transmission and a weighted shift nob, all you have to do is push the stick in the right direction.
