So the ranger needs glass in the cab side window pictured. 

 

Got a piece of glass from wreckers and it looks like it was sealed with urethane. 

 

I finished pulling the broken glass out and it looks like it what sealed with butyl. 

 

What's the correct sealer for this glass? 

 

Note: it is a fixed bolt in glass.

Not having issues with the act. Having issues with what is the right thing to seal it with.

Is the window bolted in or just glued? 

If bolted I'd use butyl, if no bolts, I'd use urethane. 

Edit: Never mind, I see where you said it was bolted. I'd use butyl.

Razor blade, soapy water, and time. I don't think anything dissolves it.
