Might be able to score one that a friends grandma owns. I have evil thoughts of turbo and lowering it. Pipe dream? Sensatrak or whatever works lowered? Turbo 4.3?

What year of Bravada? being a 4.3 I'm guessing it's an 01 or older? If it's 97 or older it has the good BW 4472 AWD transfercase that is all mechanical and can hold good power, it's the same unit in the typhoons/syclones. If it's 98+ then it uses an electronic transfercase which is less then desirable for hot rodding.
Also any SBC/LS1 swap parts for 4wd s10/blazers will work in a bravada as they all share the same front axle.
Making a V8 fit in a 4wd s10 frame a pain. biggest problem being headers. I recommend a turbo to allow the use of log manifolds. A 4wd 4l80e does bolt up to the 4472, doing that will require you to move the crossmember and come up with new driveshafts though.

I think you need a different input shaft and some kind of adapter to put the 4472 to a 4l80e, but still a solid option.
Crud... ‘01. So electronic crap. It’s a v6 not sure if it was 4.3. I just assumed 90’s era gm v6 is 4.3. I haven’t looked at it at all.
Its a 4.3, that's all they had. Swapping the t-case can't be that hard. Just remember, AWD and 4wd are different things. You may find the same unit in a hi line Jimmy or Blazer, just be careful. True 4x4 systems will have a lo range, some of the AWD did not.
I have an Astro with the 4.3 and BW 4472. I've loved it for 256k miles. But now the transfer case chain is stretched and slips a tooth occasionally making a sharp BANG. The 4472 isn't rebuildable cuz NOONE makes a chain for it. I just got a junkyard unit to replace mine, but eventually those are all going to be high mileage or scarce. Just a word of warning...a 4472 may be a short term dead end solution. My wife doesn't want a true 4wd manual transfer case, so I'm nursing my 4472 along.
Bravada SmarTrak doesn't work when the encoder motor E36 M3s the bed, which seems to be common, from my research about my inoperative AWD....
It's ~$150 part, that after watching a few YouTube how-to videos, I think I'll live with it not working. 4" of snow a couple times this winter hasn't been a problem, so berk it.
