Aww man, same colour as my old one. Most fun car I've ever owned.

Needs MPFI conversion no matter what you do do start with that. I have a friend that had good results with an D16A6 cam (hotter than the D15B2, the heads are identical otherwise) with a D16Y8 cam gear. The shorter deck of the D15 block throws the cam timing out a bit, but a D16Y8 cam gear is keyed something like 4.5 degrees off so that it lines up pretty well.

I had a mini-me in mine, and I loved it. Cheap, economical and enough squirt to be entertaining.

Head to d-series.org. Tons of great info there on motor building.

MPFI-swap is the easiest and quickest way for more power. As noted, d-series.org is a good source for info. Here's another site for direct specifics about the swap: http://enginemaniac.blogspot.com/2009/11/honda-civiccrx-d15b1d15b2-mpfi-swap.html

You'll need an Si distributor, resistor box and to perform some modifications to the Dx wiring harness.

Hawk pads are a great choice for improving braking performance; much cheaper and probably better than paying big bucks for a brake kit. Use the saved money for something more beneficial.

Oh, and paint that hideous hood and scrounge for some BMW bottle-caps as replacement wheels.

Ok guys.. I found a MPFI EF hatch (non vtesh) at the yard the otherday actually, so we'll hopefully grab everything we need from that.

The hood is getting hung in the garage, it's a "triforce"- some gay faggotry vid game reference.. and either alloys or Si hubcaps!!

You'll need to log in to post.
