On our D-Sports Racer we used an existing chassis and then completely revamped the suspension. Having someone who can do an entire frame is nice.
From memory; two strokes cars are 800lbs with driver & bike engined cars are 850lbs. The older 73" wheelbase cars get a 25lb weight brake (I run a 73" wheelbase car).

The weights have gone up, bike motor/long wheelbase is 900 or 925 (it's been a while since I looked).
