Anyone have any experience with a Saab 9-3s. I think I may have one at my job that was just traded in. I think it's an 07 Aero with the 2.8 v6t and 6 speed. Just wondering what the issues are on them and are they any reliable. Might be looking to replace my Mazdaspeed6

The 04-06 V6 turbo had some top end issues, should be sorted out by 07.

Had one for 3 years (2007  Aero Wagon).   Only issue in that time was one fuel pump.  I absolutely LOVED that car.  Plenty of grunt, handled well, comfortable, pretty, safe...

Saab was pretty conservative with the tune.  255hp out of the box, 338hp is possible without adding anything else:  http://www.vermonttuning.com/product/saab-28t-stage-0/

I would never have sold it if I didn't move.  M4ff3w on here is the current owner.

They are hard on coil packs.  Avoid XWD cars, but the front drivers should be fine.

The engine bay is tight and HOT, so little plastic parts become brittle and break.  The Saab parts are stupid money, but most things have a GM equivalent at a reasonable price.

They are harder on gas than they should be for the power level and displacement.  The stock suspension is not really very good, the ride is crashy and the handling is just OK.   The interior will be fully of rattles and buzzes, plastic and outdated tech, but you will like the seats.

The Sportcombi is a useful sized wagon, I had a no interest in the sedan because better sedans exist without as many headaches.  The vert is an interesting choice.
