Ok so I have to buy a used car for the wife since we have a kid now. The berkeleyus i.e. Focus isn't big enough. I have been seeing a bunch of 2000 Volvo S60, 70, and 80's with about 120k miles on them for around $3k. What are things I should know about these cars? What are common issues with them? Are they dependable being higher mileage? I know absolutely nothing about Volvos. What is the difference between the models? How much smaller is the S40? Would it be better to go with maybe an 850 or a 940 or something?
