yes, i have auto ADD and too many projects. im just like everyone else here....

im putting black power leather buckets in my 70 duster. theyre in great shape overall for pull-a-part seats, but need a little attention.

the drivers side has a small tear, less than 2 inches long, back near the seat hinge. it also has some wear where the seat is no longer entirely black,m but more of a grey like my boots are now that i havent polished them in years.

any simple and inexpensive ways to fix this?

thanks Michael

Is the tear leather, or the vinyl thats probably everywhere except the seating surface? Vinyl is easy, you just find a similar piece and stitch it in. Leather, you may have to add a bit of what the leather salesmen call "character" with a small patch and a couple more seams..

Dye shouldn't be that hard to find, particularly in black.
