I went to the LeMay Museum in Tacoma, WA, yesterday for a local Saab club outing. LeMay is currently building a proper facility for their hundreds of cars right in Tacoma, but before it's done, you can visit them in their dormant, stored state at a now-defunct Catholic boys military school. It's a fascinating, eclectic (well, at times, completely random) collection of cars.
Here are a couple of shots:
1960 Fiat Abarth 750:
Mercedes SL awaiting restoration (or, at least, a good dusting):
Cord:
Cadillac:
Random AMC (don't recall model:
Tucker!!
If you look through the rest of the pics -- http://www.flickr.com/photos/teamdrally/sets/72157624192925095/ --
you'll see all sorts of strange juxtapositions: E-type next to an Aztek, Corvair next to a Delorean, P1800 next to a Pacer, etc.
Anyway, if you are ever in the Pacific Northwest, you'd be missing out by skipping the museum!!

The AMC looks like a Concord vert. Cool pics. Thanks for sharing.
AMC Concord Targa????
Just saying that makes me feel . . . . well it is just wrong and yet there it is.
I did some Googling and it looks like the AMC is a Concord Sundancer.

Where is this place located? I am in Tacoma very often and am interested in seeing this collection for myself!

The irony... At one point in my life I considered buying a "double-bubble." Don't really regret not going down that path though.
