If you can't decide on just one shade.....
The most blurple factor color I can think of is the "blue" that late model Honda Accord Sports came in. More purple than blue in most light...
I believe it was called "Still Night Pearl."

Oh, E36 M3. I think im in love. Ive seen these in person in traffic and they've always caught my eye but never found one parked and couldn't figure out the name for Google purposes.
I need to find out more about the paint itself. With pearl in the name, im nervous.
Otherwise, i have a rattle can of closainne blue, techno violet, lapis blue blue coming.
My son had a Jeep Cherokee XJ that was a blurple. Blue in most lighting but lightly purple in others.

I think it is in part because when I was a little kid, my dad had a 1974 Alfa GTV 2000 in Le Mans Blue. He was so enamoured of the color, he had his SAAB 99 coupe (with homebrew turbo setup) painted to match, and the body shop messed up the mixing of the paint, so the SAAB came out a little more purple than it should have been and looked awesome!
Here's Alfa Le Mans Blue...now just imagine this, but a tiny bit darker and a bit more purple, and that was the color of the SAAB:
Here's some others that I have always liked.
VW Jazz Blue Pearl LW5Z:
Dodge Lapis Blue PC4:
Audi Nogaro Blue Pearl LZ5M:
There was a similar one on XJ Cherokees, but I can't seem to find any photos.
The Audi seems close and I agree with whoever said metallic may not look right on that car.
Back in the days of Laugh-In on TV, I rather inadvisably painted my TR-3 in one of the Chrysler colours - Plum Crazy. If you didn't live through this era as a driver, see https://www.dodgegarage.com/news/article/showcase/2019/03/high-impact-colors.html
Other colours included Panther Pink, Sassy Grass, Sublime, Go Mango, Top Banana, and Curious Yellow.
Plum Crazy was a pretty vibrant colour and legend has it that when they were naming the colours some bright advertising guy suggested (apparently seriously) that it should be called Statutory Grape. Below id what the versions they brought back for awhile in this millennium looked like.
I sold the car to a friend and he repainted it in a nice Jaguar blue.

This looks exactly like the car sitting outside the shop a mile or so from my neighborhood. Its been sitting for a while but looks good.

Wow, super rare color. Forgot they made a few in that shade

Original plum crazy, technoviolet, and supersonic blue pearl are my top three from this thread so far.
Disclaimer- my color vision sucks, so forgive me if these aren't exactly "blurple"

There are some amazing colors in this thread! I didn't know it before, but burple might just be my favorite color!
