Woohoo! Will write more later, but we are seriously happy with how well our little VW did against the OLOA field. Third place behind a Mk8 Golf R and a Hellcat.

Finally back home and woke up at 5:30am just like every day this week. The OLOA hangover is real! Tom is still driving the car back to FL. Stopped in Nashville. I wonder if he'll feel the need to visit a track today...I know I do.
Same here--woke up early and just got in the car out of habit.
Two photos I forgot to post yesterday:
1. Andy saying goodbye at the airport. We store him at an undisclosed location in between OLOA and tire test events.
2. Some random rest area where I also bumped into a few more One Lappers.
I "only" have 9.5 hours to drive today, and there isn't even a track day to do before I hit the road. Downright luxurious!

Considering I was in the wrong tires and 6th car out in a wet pad still I'm not angry. She was right in the ragged edge and all of my steering corrections were being done with my foot. I couldn't ask for more.
Just being in the back of the pack means you tend to have more "adversity" than even the mid pack. Two nights in a row we didn't even have time for any dinner, 4 nights in a row hotel wasn't found until midnight or later. All the crashes, delays and cars running out if friggin fuel on track meant we didn't even get our last session until 5pm. Eagles canyon one of only 2 run groups to get a very wet and sketchy track. But I wouldn't change a thing. These my peeps back here. Plus we get to swoop in for the rescue when people run into problems even if it costs us more time.
finally got a full nights sleep and after a few days to decompress I'll see if I can put together our story from the back and a few of our fun stories.

Y'all have quickly established yourselves as OLOA legends.
Such a great community.

Awesome work man. Congrats.
Got the hardware and made it back all in one piece.
Excellent outing! Looking forward to the article soon!
Andy Hollis said:Curious to see how long the stickerage will stay...daily driver and all.
Oh no, I'm pulling them off today. It's a miracle I didn't get any tickets driving around like this.
