literal LOL.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
And you know someone said “That’s not going anywhere” at some point in the process.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
It was most likely me. I saw one other during Friday morning practice at Devil's.

Did one blow away?

The Acuras, I assume? And Rupert and his crew delivered some outstanding photography.
That was a blast, hope to make it up to spectate from the top in the next few years. My experience of the event was more of a camping trip with some car stuff for entertainment. Which was perfect.

Crossed the starting line at 4:22.
If our clocks were sync'ed, we were 1 minute ahead of you...gates at 3:18
and Starting Line at 4:21

Ha, that’s awesome. The times I mentioned came right from my iPhone, so they should be correct.
We were in the white Santa Fe.
By the way, we might have gotten yelled at for pausing to photograph the starting arch. (The things I do for you all. )
In reply to David S. Wallens :
We walked past your vehicle a dozen times at least, parked off to your passenger side. If we had only known!
Sunrise from halfway up Halfway Spectator area, looking downhill
And looking uphill at the moon setting
In reply to llysgennad :
Ha, that’s funny. Half of our group came in the silver-ish Sante Fe parked 90 degrees to ours. From there, we all hiked down to Engineers.

Almost. Devil's on Friday morning was nutty with the poor visibility, wind, and rain.

Yes sir.
For the Champions Parade, I was more or less across the road from the lower entrance into the HPG parking area.

We were in the silver Expedition, surrounded by Broncos. Too funny
That is too funny.
In reply to metallitubby :
The Acuras looked good, even when we could barely see them due to the fog.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
From that picture vantage point, we were 90 degrees to you, 2nd line from the "facilities". We had to be close to the other Santa Fe.
In reply to llysgennad :
Did you see me walk to the head of the line to see why we weren’t being released? Was it just the traffic? Were some cars up front empty? Bigfoot? I was wearing my media vest, so could I help direct traffic? We had people in our crew who were tired, thirsty and needed to poop, ideally not into a hole.
Once up there, I saw several police and talked to our corner captain: We wouldn’t be released until everyone above us had been released.
When I reported back on my findings, there were some moans.
Dinner (and the toilet) at Culver’s was much appreciated.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
We were napping and listening to the locals have a very (not) entertaining conversation about downhill bikes.
I'm glad the sprinkles held off until then, it was a beautiful day.
We went back to my sister's house for burgers fresh off the grill.
