I want more information on the blue one please. That's pretty much what I have in mind.

That blue car is a Bugatti Type 35. Truly cool!

Another more recent design (1989) is the Nissan Saurus. http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motorsport/autocar-tests-nissan-saurus-nismos-first-car

I've also long thought that a Locost chassis would be a great basis for building a DIY Morgan, for those that want one that has 'classier' lines.

At the extreme end of the modified Lotus Seven scale is the Mallock, hardly recognisable from its humble beginnings. They move the engine back and over, but it's still front engine.

I can't imagine much more win than this

Or a longer and shorter MG TD:

On the Exocet they did something like a big sportbike tail:

It looks nice, but doesn't give you much cargo room...on the Exocet, it's just big enough for the gas tank to fit inside.

It's not just you - I've thought a track T nose on one would be perfect.

Fastcraft makes a body that fits on their Lotus 7 based frame that has the Sport Racer look.

Also Galek Motorsports has a kit car which is a pretty simple frame similar to the Lotus 7's

Really don't know much about either of these companies or their products other then they probably fill a place in the market for basic little cars with a body.

Initially I had thought about a full track t body. But...

That Morgan is gorgeous.

Keep it coming guys. This is fuelling my brain and getting me all excited.

If you like the Morgan look, the Locost proportions can be made to look quite good.

Here is a thread on Locostusa where I had explored alternate body styles in CAD

Those were very quick models to see what could be done easily, and what would look good with Locost proportions. My favorite was the following:

Sort of like that original series 2 I linked. But to get good proportions on a Locost, you have to raise the scuttle height. If not, it looks flattened.

How about a Chevron B2 for inspiration:

They have the classic Clubmans look but with a bit nicer rear end.

Whoever owns these sites need to write a $40 check to get a better website. Honestly I think in galek's case they could probably write a $2 check...
