Long Beach Grand Prix

Anyone here planning on being in attendance?

I went last year, it was a blast, except food was pretty expensive, and the crowds were pretty big. You can find cheap beer at one of the restaurants down by the fountain chicane. I think it was 3-4 bucks a beer at the bar instead of 7-8 from the vendors.

Not going this year because the Pro at El Toro is the same weekend.

I was kicking around the idea but the baby is due any day now. I doubt SWMBO would take real kindly to me taking off right after pit crew member one is born.

I was thinking of saving that for grabbing my father when he comes out and going to Laguna Seca in May.

Ill be working at turn 10, it would be cool to put some faces to the names in between on track action.

Was there last year, good times. Not going this year, was just there a few weeks ago and saw all the stands and fences up, pretty cool to drive around the "course."

For the Tudor USCC race, my truck was at turn 11 for practice and turn 10 for the race. Here's a couple videos I was able to get. Man I love hearing these things in person.
