Leaving out what we're looking at, should we be concerned with the age of the oil? It could conceivably be close to two years old, with countless start/stops, from moving it around the dealership.

Yes, it's a foreign concept to most Kia owners but yes. It should happen at the regular intervals specified in the owners manual.

Owners Manual? Screw that. I'll just change it every.... umm.... 5k miles and call it a day.

I resent this remark!;-)
Plus, none of my Kias came with an owners manual.
I'm pretty sure my Abarth's owners manual says to change it when the little light comes on. Nothing else. 5700 miles and no light, I'm a little concerned.

Saaawheeeettt!!
My wife had a 2006 SRT and claims she WILL have one again. Of all the cars she's owned, it's still her favorite. Nice choice. Start saving up for the rear tires that you'll most definitely wear out. Just too much fun not to smoke them regularly.

She claims she's going to drive it like a grandma, to which I say "bulle36m3", otherwise, she didn't need a 392 cubic inch engine and should have just gotten a Chrysler 200 or something.

Yeah, she is. The car's not bad, either. No idea why the car hadn't sold.

Then I bet that is why it was still on the lot.
