Gonna be logging some windshield time for job the next year or two.

I have an e3o thinking of selling it for something a little less buzzy.

Something under 10 grand total after PM and upgrades BT radio etc.

E34? I like mine, although it'll probably be part of my fleet cull.

A Porsche 928 or a Jaguar XJ-S would fit. Not kidding.

What does GT mean to you? Everything from a Corvette to a Lexus sedan could fit, but they're not the same.

GT, traditionally means Grand Touring. Hondas aren't luxo enough, neither are 'vettes, but for a completely different reason. But, yeah, what does GT mean to you?

Curious as to why the Vette isn’t Luxo enough for a GT car. I know you have some pretty out there strong opinions but to me a Corvette fits GT car to a T. Too fast maybe? They’re very comfortable and have all the usual lux features. Image is about the only thing I can think of and to me that means berkeley all and I suspect to most here that’s true.

Saab 9-5.  Very comfy, fun to drive and can be had in a manual, plenty of turbo power, 30mpg highway without trying, and a near perfect one is half your budget.

If you want to go newer, you’d be amazed at how new of a Mercedes CLK or e-class that will buy you.

For a more traditional definition of a GT car, how about a Jag XK8 or XKR

DC, I've never found a corvette comfortable. The fittings are cheap ass GM bin box stuff. Only thing GT about them is that fat white men are the usual pilots. Same kinda pilot for a GT. Also, why are so many people mentioning 4 door cars. GTs are Coupes or Convertibles.

Lexus SC400/300. That is one solid highway cruise missile with just enough sportiness to keep it interesting. 90s Toyota reliability and plenty of elderly owners with good service habits.

I've spent a few hours behind the wheel of a Corvette and found it super comfortable. Maybe it's a body type thing. I'm not a big guy, about 6'0", 165lbs, and it was really a great place to spend a lot of time. Even at 120mph it was solid and steady and felt safe. The HUD was really cool, once you got used to it. It was easy to loaf around town and then it was a monster at even half throttle.
