Looking for help from a San Diego area GRMer

A long story short:

There is a very rare bumper skin for local sale in San Diego which I want quite badly. I live in Portland, OR. It is bulky but not particularly heavy (no metal structure, just the skin.) I know it is possible to ship such things, but it will probably take a bit of creativity in making a box (last time I cut down a bicycle box from the bike shop) and some time and running around to take it to a UPS store or post office or someplace like that.

The seller is OK with dropping it off someplace near 92111. If a local GRMer is willing to receive the thing (or pick it up,) pack it up, and ship it out, I am willing to reimburse you for shipping plus give you a $75 gift certificate to a GRM advertiser of your choice for your time and hassle.

That would be a simple thing to ship via Greyhound. They are not very finicky about packing materials, and they are cheap. You just have to go pick up.

I am in San Diego. I live in Oceanside and work in Del Mar. Give me more info, 92111 apparently is really close to my work. I'm sure the skin would fit in my Jetta or the wifes Matrix

Seller said: I can ship but you have to figure out how to get it to you. I can provide you dimensions and you can let me know where to drop it off. I am in San Diego 92111. Any neighborhood near there is ok with me.

Originally I was thinking someplace like a UPS Store, but they won't take payment over the phone and I don't think the seller wants to pay and then be reimbursed, hence the plea on here.

It's close to that area if they can drop it off at my work in Del Mar. Once I have it I can look into the boxing/shipping etc
