So should I?

Not the hot rod LSC but seems like a good buy for a low miles Lincoln. A Versace version no less too!!
That price seems really high. It's likely that you would have some brake and suspension issues shortly after buying it, assuming it still has the TEVES and air springs. Unless the transmission has been rebuilt, overdrive would also be suspect.
The '86 and '87 had the 200 hp SEFI engines similar to the '86 GT Mustang and from '88-'90 the Mark VII LSC had a speed density version of the '87-'92 Mustang 5.0 H.O. with 225 hp. I believe from '90-'92 all Mark VII variants got the 225 hp engine.
If you don't have room to keep the crown Vic, where you keeping this? Getting rid of the fiat? I know they are rare but if I wanted MARK VII I'd want an LSC.

Garage opened up on my apartment complex, so I hopped on it and now have a bit of space to have something stupid. I do like the doo-doo brown. Think Im gonna pass though. I looked at it this morning and it was really clean. But I've seen LSC go for cheaper and not entirely sure I want a project car.
I've always really wanted one of those. I love the metallic brown or that metallic burgundy. Every time I have one of these cars that's easy to build up, I realize that I could spend go-faster money on other cars, so I get other cars and ditch the ones I think about building up.
But anyway, Mark VIIs are super cool and I totally want one. I love big super fast GTs, and it looks like one of these could eventually be that.
I just watched this the other day and I think it applies.

There aren't that many nice LSC's running around anymore. All the ones I see are ragged. If I was looking for a Mark VII, I'd certainly consider that Versace, then make selective upgrades as needed/desired.

Does replicating this count as "something stupid"?
If it's as clean as it looks, it looks like a good candidate for a supercharged 5.4 Triton, as long as you're under there...., ;-) I really felt like that was the only problem with the short-lived Marauder. The 5.0 just didn't have the juice for a car that big. The 5.4SC would!

That's what I'm thinking. Plus I'm a sucker for clean cars and that one looks to be pretty clean.
Good old Motorweek. 60-series low profile tires, he said!
I didn't realize it didn't have rear shoulder belts. That kinda takes it off the list.

That ruins a TON of cars for me. Having kids'll do that to ya!
