My 233whp/215tq had serious traction issues, from an OBD-I S52. While it's way cool and I'd want to do it as well.
It's just completely overkill. If you search around on YouTube, there is a vid of the kid wrecking that car going like 30mph rolling on the gas in 2nd gear.

HA! That isn't overkill - its an indication that there is a shortage of grip that needs to be addressed before supercharging!
