I don’t know what I will do with it. It is a very nice, clean, drove perfect high optioned grand touring model. Even had done yearly trans fluid changes. I have replaced it so either way it will go down the road. Book time 13 hours to remove engine, not super excited about throwing a bunch of time at it. Jcamper
Whoa!!!!... momma just purchased a 2012 with 115K on the clock.... I suppose that I should find the service records and see when the 'chain' was even addressed...ya think??? Other than that she is thrilled with this and when I'm behind the wheel I can't really complain.

That's a tough call, do they typically have timing chain issues? Putting in a new engine then dumping it sounds like it would yield the most money, but that's a significant job.
Drove a 2018 CX9 while looking for a family hauler/camper. I really liked it. Really liked. We ended up with a 2015 Cayenne because my wife liked the seats a lot better (neck and back injuries for a horse riding accident). I'd HIGHLY recommend the current generation.
The Highlander and Pilot are probably better appliances and minivan of more practical but the Mazda drives rings around anything else in its class
