I think it's funny that they think they are "more upscale" now.
That isn't what anyone else thinks. Not even Kia owners.
No kidding! Isn't that what the Infinity brand is for???
Infiniti = Nissan
Mazda doesn't have an upscale brand that I am aware of
I think he was talking about Enfini, which was never sold outside of Japan.
Or you could bring up Amati, Mazda's aborted hyper-luxe brand that was supposed to birth a W12 7-series competitor.
I do not envy changing a timing belt on that thing
Doesn't Mazda have some sort of emissions exemption from California for not having any hybrids/electrics?
Ive been saying it's a malaise era for japanese autos here quite a bit over the past couple of years, this is just further evidence to that.
millions (with an S) of 12As and nonturbo 13Bs that went 200k+ would disagree with you.
Ya but if you were to ask the average person the reputation of such cars it would be negative. It doesn't matter if reality is the other way, the perception is what matters.
That perception really sticks with RX8s, I wouldn't buy one. I don't care what people claim the reality is. I've always been told from unbiased sources that this is the case.
Mazda has MUCH to prove with the rotary. If it were so good as people claim it would be in cars still.
