Let's see the stickers already.

I was trying not to bother Mo because he was busy the last I talked to him. I need to bother him though. Right now I only have GL stickers that are way too small to matter. I need bigger ones. And the ELM logo that I very poorly drew and sent to him.

ELM? If you want and you get it to me I might can cook something up.
In reply to mndsm:
ELM is Extended Lateral Motorsports, which is the entity I've created for my racing shenanigans. It references the very long horizontal wells that my wife drills that pay for this, and has a second more giggly meaning. Extended Lateral. Huhuhuhuhuh......
Anyway, I drew out what sort of logo I want but didn't put too much talent into it. Take the first picture that I drew, and add on the drill bit from the second picture (without the pendant outline) and a derrick something like the third picture on top of the L. I'll get to it.
Alright..... Give me a day or and let me.see what I.can do. My hand is sorta berkeleyed up but I.got drugs now.so hopefully they work.

Not saying you don't have skills, but what about sending your sketches to someone on Fiverr? I paid $300 for my old company's logo, and my wife pad $5.50 on Fiverr, and hers is just as good. If nothing else, it could save you a lot of time.

Sorry, completely missed your post where you were offering. I wouldn't have suggested anything else, not trying to interject.
I was looking at entering for 2014 or 2015, but then I ran across the donor car to get my Corolla project started and there went my savings!

Exactly what I was thinking. My tribe will be there in about 2 yrs... hmmm..
I probably won't be at Tirerack to see anyone off, but I plan to be at Gingerman on May 8th when the tour rolls through.
I was involved with covering the One Lap back in the 1990's and back then, there were no opportunities for a hotel stay. Most competitors packed some sort of folding lounge chair to allow them to sleep/nap wherever they were. Standard MO was to blast to the track as fast as you dared, then sleep outside the gate, then drive in at the right time. I'm sure they event and the strategies have evolved, but make sure you have a plan that allows you to get some rest and decent food at regular intervals.
You also have the advantage of the GRM support crew. Sadly, you won't be stopping at PIRC this year so I can't be there with hot food, but talk to other board regulars along the route. You could have tools, food, supplies and support at each track and on the transit stages I bet!
One huge advantage the V has is the back. It's exceptionally comfortable and quiet and big enough to stretch out for either of us. We won't be sleeping there on transits but plan to utilize it for extensive napping during down times at the tracks. Both of us are good at sleeping in cars and the navigation in frees up guy in the passenger seat for sleeping.
My co-driver and his new wife are currently building a spreadsheet of travel times between tracks and finding appropriate hotels along the way for any sleep we might be able to grab and showers and such. The 200 mile range on car guarantees we'll be stopping often enough for food and drink.
One trick that I recall from a past winner was to not only find time for the driver to rest, but make the time to shower and groom. It seems that the physiological boost is valuable; looking good and not smelling like rotten socks does give a dense of well-being. Maybe do a search for who lives close to the tracks and will let you freshen up.
We had hotels every night and had plenty of time to go there and sleep for at least a few hours, shower etc. We also campaigned a wagon and there were 3 of us, we had a transit driver. So I napped alot in the back of the car while we were driving to the next track.
Definitely book all your hotel rooms now! Brock will give you a route book, I strongly suggest following it, as there will be plenty of other One Lappers on that same route to help you if something goes wrong.
When I first figured out I could do One Lap I read the rules to find out if I could, in fact, do One Lap. I thought I needed a Time Trial license from NASA or equivalent. Looking at the schedule I wasn't sure I could pull it off in time. Then Brock said that I didn't really need a TT license, just proper verifiable track experience. That was a relief.
Then a funny thing happened. I have attended every NASA Texas track weekend possible since, and this little guy came in the mail today.
Fire suit came. Mrs. Deuce says I look like James Hunt. Pretty sure this is going to work out well for me.

Some still do that, there was an Ultima GTR towing a lightweight camper a few years back.
GRM important people, (Tom, Tim, Margorie etc.) Are some form of GRM sticker in the One Lap sticker pack, or do I need to bug you guys for some before I go? I can't imagine doing this without GRM stickers on the car.
