Niiiiiiiice. I used to get to drive a 62 with the 327/push-button. Snappy little motor, and the unit-body Ambassador was a sweet ride. The black on that 64 is sinister!
It is a very clean sedan, but I just wouldn't pay that much for it.
That said my classic car project is a sedan because it was cheaper and in better shape than any two door of the same vintage.
Dude, you gotta stop posting these chicago listings. Its killing me. I'm driving right past there today.
A guy back in HS had a sweet black Ambassador coupe. It was badass. I ran into him a few years ago & asked about it, but he'd sold it long before.
Get this one two and maybe you could sing that "Night and Day" song... http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/cto/1769584781.html
I saw a bee-autiful (at least from 30' at 60mph) black 67 4-door coronet 440 for sale on the way to and from meeting a client a couple days ago. I did not stop. I will not stop. Must not stop.

I've always liked that Merc and I think it's being restored now too.
Saw on Hot Rod TV today Matthew Fox's '50. It was pretty bitchin', but not enough detail on it in the show.
