The hood scoop is a nice touch.

The one on the front or the drag racing ram air type on the back that you only see on Camaros?

Anyone else think this thing might be related to the Mighty Snorkelstang?

If it were LeMons priced...which it should be...it would be a lolztastic car to drive in that. Especially if painted like the CLK-GTR race cars.

Look closer at the panel gaps in the fiberglass body. I'm pretty sure it was the 1970s.

I have a hunch that if you showed up to the kit car nationals driving that they would turn you away

Exactly. I'd drive that with a smile for $500

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I was about to say that it looked like a CLK LM had a drunken night with the Homer, but someone beat me to the homer comparison.

Honestly get rid of the front and rear add on scoops, hack off the windshield, top and doors making at "open" car, put a small race windscreen on it, re-paint it and make the chassis/suspension not scary and it wouldn't look half bad. For much less money could be worth buying. What he is asking is insane

Exactly. I'd drive that on a bet for $500

I'd drop an F2T in that bish then try to bribe enough people to let me drive it in ChumpCar.

Not that symmetry is the only issue here but why the heck is the hood scoop not centered?

Look 5 min in MS Paint and just cleaning up the hoodscoop makes it look 100% better. I kinda wish their was a picture with it "closed" so I could remove the rear and lower the windshield.

Ho-Lee-Crap, I can now see it. Wow, someone put a lot of effort into building that. Imagine if they could have been re-directed into making something cool.

I get a kick out of ads that assume that the reader is even dumber than the person posting the ad.

Looks like an ML grill on that abomination. Wonder what the pedigree of it is and if mercedes was actually involved with it.

It's a really nice touch that the (rear) hood scoop is facing backwards. You know, to vent all those sonic waves in that huge carb.

As long as the judges in Lemons didn't know what the hell the engine was, you might actually beat Speedycop on index with this pig.

More like it was probably a C or D Sports Racer converted for the street. I'd buy that explanation long before the one that Mercedes had anything to do with that.

I'd be really disappointed if it turned out to be my dad's long lost CSR...

I'd put more money on it being an old bastardized VW kit car... and the ginormous scoop on the front is to provide air flow to the radiator it was never meant to have.

...because every race Merc had a Fiero steering wheel. The rear wing looks like Its off one too.
