Just wanted to thank everyone for a great year and hope everyone is getting a much earned break with friends and family.
Rennie (with his new/old girl friend, Elizabeth) is up visiting us and has brought Margie's 5 Series back with many improvements. We are reading our new car books and will most likely tinker with a couple of the cars over the next few days.
Tommy's Spitfire is getting its new dual carb set up. Margie's Corvair is painted and reassembly starts on Monday. I love this holiday season as I finally get a few days off to catch up on my writing assignments and car projects.
Again, health and happiness to all.

Thanks Tim, my Christmas ensured I'll be reading more of you again this year. Although Dad usually steals them when I'm away at school and I have to go seaching the toilets for the magazines.
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas. Thanks for all you do for us. We are looking foreward to seeing you guys again.

Merry Christmas from Knoxville
The mail carrier delivered my new issue of GRM on Christmas Eve.
Good timing
merry christmas and beware because i am invading your part of the country this week, leaving in a few minutes.
Merry Christmas from Cancun. Mrs. Mini and I decided to try something different this year and am loving it. Let's all be mindful of those who cannot be with their families this season and resolve to bring them back safe and sound. For those of you who are serving, a huge thank you!

I knew I was doing the right thing when I suscribed to CM! I bought a 1981 GTV6 last summer, but it's a project. I'm sure there'll be nice articles now that Andy Reid owns one. Might be awhile before mine's running well enough to take y'all's advice, tho..

And to everyone at Holly Hill! From now on, the days get longer, and spring will be here before ya know it! I hope I can save up for new tires before then...

My own 5 series will be receiving some love this holidays, too.
Happy Christmas from sunny Australia
Wow, Cancun, Australia. It has become a small world. Thanks to all that responded.
The 5 Series won't be an official project car in either magazine, but we will still write some about it. I just switched to some Plus 2 tires and wheels which will make for a quick Notes From the Garage type story.
My Christmas Holiday was saved with the delivery of GRM on Christmas Eve before I left for a trip with my wife for St Augustine. Thanks guys! Now I have something other than the books given to me by family to read between seafood breaks.

Aw, hell. I guess I'll have to go through my back issue collection to see what y'all did the first time you had one.

Heh, heh...does anyone call it "Plus" anymore? We may be showing our age here, Tim....
And where did I miss that y'all were doing dual carbs on Tommy's Spit? I thought that car had the 1500 instead of the 1275. OTOH, going to duals could really wake up a 1500.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone down there and thanks for keeping us entertained and somewhat out of trouble.

I have to chime in here, too. The past year has been good, and we expect the next to be better. I enjoy the forum a lot, and think of all of you as friends I just haven't met yet. To all at GRM, good luck with your expanding empire, and please keep it coming in the same format. I have not yet made it to the Challenge, but plan to for the next one. So, Merry Christmas to all!!
Hrrrmmmm whats this christmas you all speak of? On the 25th of December I celebrate new tool day!
Ha just kidding, I hope your Christma-hanna-kwanzikah was merry and your new year festive and safe. Egg nog tastes better with some PB blaster on the rim of the cup, remember to keep some mistletoe hung over the compressor, and every time a blow off valve rings, an angel gets its wings
