A Miata-only autocross and track day, eh? So what makes this special, compared to any other autocross or track day?

Thought about going, but then saw the date and that's kind of late in the year. I've seen them salt the roads in Central New York that early. And then I remembered that the last time I took my Miata to Lime Rock Park, when I lent it to some YouTube channels for filming, my car ended up getting thrown out for noise violation. Yeah, that'll be a pass.

It's very dependent on the weather at that point. If there's salt down already, and there well might be, attendance is going to be affected. That said, the FCP Euro Proving Grounds autox course is really entertaining - a great mix of high and low speed corners, as well as elevation changes, and it can be configured in several different ways.

Hmm, scratch my last post.  Didn't realize how early the roads can get salted up there.

Super dependent on the season. With how warm this summer has been, maybe it'll carry through to late fall. The other issue is that if you're running grippy boi tires, that late in the year you could get down into temperatures that damage them, or at the very least makes them have all the grip of a polished marble.
