Here's the 56 (!) page thread summed up.

Astounding. This picture almost made me cry with happiness.
I've been watching that build for years. The owner appears to be a highly skilled fabricator. As for little HP, I think a 16V-T is capable of putting down good numbers (we have a local putting over 500HP to the wheels with a 16V-T).
I can't even imagine taking on such a project. Of course I don't have the time, money, or skills to even consider it either...
You get skills like that from doing and paying attention to detail. He's only 21 (22 now, I guess), so there's still time for any of us to develop them.
Makes my little MG project seem like something that should be banged out in a weekend.
Oh man, I remember that car. I looked at that thing probably.... 1.5 years ago? Obviously wasn't finished back then. Glad to see he's still working on it. That car is awesome, and he's got some serious talent and dedication.
I wish there was a way to filter these "epic" build threads to cut out all the atta boy / hater / circle jerking. Damn near 50 pages, and most of the project could be summarized in in 5.
Its a great project, glad to see he's still plugging along (most 21 YO's that I know would have abandoned this after the initial teardown)

In this case, there is. I posted the link to the summary earlier.
