There was a thread on this last year...I remember two things, the price is very un-grassroots, and somebody said something like "I hope I'll never be lazy enough to want this" 
I'd seen an animated gif of that, but it only showed the downward motion.
Needs to be considerably cheaper than a lift, otherwise it's mostly pointless.
