HAH! I read the article before May 1 (by a day).
GREAT article (Read This, page 30).
Had me laughing out loud (fortunately, wife had a sudden appointment with the neighbor to settle for babysitting our son).
Thanks for taking your page and a third!

So I was reading last month's issue and thinking "Why the hell doesn't J.G. have his own column? He's one funny MFer."
Thank you for having ESP, because I got to the computer to opine as such but got distracted by porn or lolcats or something.
WHA? Pasterhack got his own mag space to spit his own brand of random?
Awesome!!
Technically I still don't have my own, as this was just a one off for the anniversary. I will admit that I don't write as much as I like to because of my demands as art director. but I will say that after 20 years I kind of get to cherry pick my assignments. To the point where I'll pitch an idea to david, and if he says he likes it, I do it. Not a lot of discussion or rough drafts, just a cool product at the end. I think Thunderhill has long gone that way, and it seems to work well, judging by the feeedback we get.
So, own column? Maybe. Blogs are coming back hard on our site, though, and I'll definitely be there. As it is, with my workload and travel schedule my wife barely recognizes me................ probably not always a bad thing.
Thanks for letting me hang around. If you see me at the Mitty, come say hi before my security guys rough you up.

I'm surprised they let you have that extra 1/3 page.
Nice article!
I wholly support a regular column

I DEMAND a regular column. DEMAND. Or the kitteh gets it.
Davids would have to be called "Off Camber" and you would have to angle your head sideways to read it.

Contrats on 20 years...that's quite an accomplishment.
I can always tell an article JG writes without even looking at the author, and that's a good thing, kind of like Peter Egan, etc. I think very few writers, and automotive writers in particular, develop a unique style, and JG has accomplished that. I always enjoy his stuff! Of course it doesn't hurt that he's an MR2 fan either!
Of course I always enjoy everyone else's there too, but JG's stuff always leaves you in a good mood.

The world needs more Pasterjaks and Egans . . .
Good work JG
Yep, I'd love more writings by J.G. Actually, he's about to get a big assignment for Classic Motorsports. I'm not sure if he knows about it yet. I guess I should tell him.
let him find out here, itll be funnier
