Back in 1980 I had a chance (courtesy of Uncle Sam's yacht club...) to go to Monaco about 3 wks before the GP. They were setting up the grandstands and I walked the track about three times. Awesome... Do you know there's a Renault dealer almost right on the start line? Saw my first Fuego there...

Don't a bunch of F1 drivers live in Monaco? I heard that they had some pretty lenient tax laws, which were helpful to multi-million incomes.
That kinda makes Monaco their home track..
