I had no idea this thing existed. I thought it was a badge engineered RAV4 or something. They must have sold about two of them.

It was the last genuine Isuzu offering in the US before GM took the reins and made all the Isuzu products just rebadged Chevys.

The Isuzu Rodeo ran from 1988 to 2004.

The Axiom was generally a Rodeo refresh and name change to try to charge sales.  Model years of only 2002 to 2004

Trying to remember if we drove one as a press car back in the day. Maybe?

I just got back from the Dominican Republic. The number of Chinese E36 M3boxes was impressive. Lots of Dongfeng, Great Wall Motors, etc.

My rental car was a Hyundai Verna. Jesus fork that was a heap.

Isuzu Axiom sounds great in comparison.

I kind of like the look. Definitely space ship vibes.

I read a review on car and driver and the thing had 230 horses with a RWD based AWD system. Could be worse?
