One local Honda dealer says he's made about 100 CFC deals and has gotten reimbursed for... ten. In the meantime, the trade in cars are sitting on his lot. So he's waiting on $450,000 in reimbursements. A local Chrysler Jeep is sitting on 50, same story only he has yet to see a penny.
This morning the news had the czar on saying, "trust me the money is coming". They just haven't printed it yet.
Buddy of mine is a major ford dealer. He has honestly 1.2-1.3 million in CFC cars. They had to rent a dirt lot to drag the things to as they are flat out of space.
Looks like it will end on Monday August 24th for better or worse. The program is apparently out of money.
