My factory wheel went flat because of camber wear, so I put one of my 18's on as a spare. I'm looking for a nice 18" tire that has a decent sidewall. Right now they have 215/35r18's on them, I was thinking of getting a 45 or 50 series tire for them.
About 6 months ago I had a chance to pick up a '96 Accord wagon owned by a little old lady (really) and taken in by my mechanic rather than have the 1 and only owner trade it. That one had less than 100k miles on it.
Yeah, I bitch about the "what ifs" , but when they drop in my lap I let them pass by. i console myself with the knowledge that that '96 wagon had some kind of coolant leak that my mechanic never could seem to pin down.
Jimbob: Thanks Integaguy: That sucks! I blew the radiator in mine Saturday and almost over heated it. She almost got a premature H22 swap LOL
My plan, if I could find the funds, was to buy the "old lady wagon" and do a H22 and 5 speed swap. A sudden decision to move from 1 state to another kind of scotched that plan.
I've always liked the lines on that Accord generation. Actually one of the few models in which I prefer the 4 door sedan to the wagon (did they make a coupe in this generation?). Just very clean styling. Refreshing these days.

50 is WAY too big. Go for 225/40 imo.
Also.. love it
One of my favorite Honda products in one of my favorite colors. I'd call that pretty close to Scarlet and Gray.
My grand dad has a 93 2dr Accord. Bought it new. He loves it and i think it is a lovely cruiser. Love the looks of the car inside and out.
One of my best friends has a white '92 wagon that is a total rust bucket. He would kill to have one as clean as yours..
It's a great car when it's running right. Unfortunately it needs a TCM, and a radiator. Thanks for the compliments
17" tires are cheap.
cheaper than my oem 16's by at least 15 bucks a tire. may be getting close to 15" tire prices.
ditch the center caps and paint them white. instant tarmac rally status.
maybe not though, they look pretty clean.
Well today I installed my replica Mugen front lip. It's designed for a 96-97 Accord, but I'm so cool that I made it fit I only had to trim about 3 inches off of each side, and it came out great Here's some pics:
Mocked up:
On and trimmed:
And a little photoshoot :D
