Mrs and I finally bought our first ever brand new car. 2024 Audi Q5 e-tron in Chronos Gray
We traded in our 2020 Audi Q5 e-tron with 49K miles on it that we bought CPO in early 22. In the nearly 3 years and over 38K miles we owned it, we averaged 51.3 mpg. The rebates were so aggressive on the new one that we ended up only paying $1500 total out of pocket to own the old one, and we halved our APR.
The 24 is a Prestige with Black Optics Plus and Sports Plus Packages, so it has matrix LED headlights, air suspension, sport seats in Alcantara, and a HUD. The 24 also has a larger, reformulated battery giving us 35 miles of EV range compared to 25 of the 20, a 360* camera, wireless Android Auto, and reset our 4 year / 50K warranty. We will also qualify for a tax credit and the PUD provided a free 240v home charger.
It's a good feeling, isn't it?

Thank you! I love this color. It's green but also not green and has so much personality. I knew we weren't getting a German Rainbow color (white/silver/gray/black) and had the choice of Chronos, District Green, and Ultra Blue as the only colors left. It was aaaaaaalmost District. I love Ultra, but our S4 is blue.
Man the deals on Audi EVs and PHEVs has been nuts the last year or so. Glad to see you took advantage of one.

They are seriously insane, especially the EVs.
Somehow I didn't pick up that you were Javelin at first and thought, "Oh, another person with one of these, Javelin seemed to really like his..."
So awesome that you got so much back on the old one. I'd love one of these but I am a cheap ass when it comes to my regular transportation. I still think about the $12k I dropped on our van, and that was 5 years ago.

Yeah I had to change my username after getting doxxed by the importers of the tires that shall not be named for outing their illegal antics here on GRM.
I still drive a 12 year old high mileage POS I paid cash for, but putting Mrs J in something reliable and safe has been so worth the monthly payments. All the nannies will make our car insurance not quite so hateful when all 4 kids are teens of driving age.
