NASCAR should just broadcast a replay of the 1979 Daytona 500 every  weekend until racing resumes.

I bought a F1TV subscription during preseason testing cause they had a special and i don't feel like having cable this year.

BEST $40 I've ever spent on Motorsports.

I used it tonight to watch the 2009 Brazilian GP. And I'll use it tomorrow to watch a bunch more races from the past. This is what's going to get me through the social distancing.

I was going to suggest they broadcast lots of 70s and 80s races, especially at Riverside.

I've been watching whichever Trans-AM and IMSA races from the 80s and 90s that I can find on youtube.

Three of the TV stations my company owns are Fox. The info the network has sent us seems to indicate that the plan to show a replay of the '86 race at Richmond on Sunday.

If you're already running replays of famous races why not reach out to some of the racers themselves and have them give little one or two line commentaries.

Like a directors cut, you don't need them in a studio the audio quality over a phone line would be fine.

No, because eventually that will bring the Waltrips into it... and nobody needs that right now.

In reply to Woody :

I don't want to hear from people I've heard of, I wanna hear about the guy who started 28th and finished 13th and that might have been his most successful big race.

The Dale Jr Download podcast is an awesome source for interviews with both current and past NASCAR stars.  The stories from guys like Dave Marcus, Harry Gant, and Rick Mast were all awesome.

The Rick Mast episode was awesome. That guy seems to know where all the bodies are buried.

The Kenny Schrader episode is a good time, too.

Really hoping Jr. has Geoffrey Bodine on the show sometime soon.

Couple weeks ago I was looking for video on youtube of 2nd gen Trans Ams at above highway speed for aerodynamic observation.  So I looked for the NASCAR races where they were used as the pace car. Got interested in the race and watched the whole '79 Daytona 500!

I'm hoping our local station is airing it, I'm recording it incase.

The Dale Jr show is really fun to watch,  the James Finch one may have been my favorite.  I could see being like him if I had money.
