I leave my car for two months while I'm at sea, and I come home to a basket full of problems....But hey at least it still runs.

The driver side window won't go up or down anymore. The cable slipped off the pulley, but I slipped it back on. It still won't move though and the motor turns for a few seconds then bogs down, which is leading me to believe that there is slack in the cable. Any help is appreciated, I don't feel like stepping out of my car to pay tolls.

At 65 bucks for a new assembly, I would not waste much time trying to fix what is there.

Doorman makes replacement for a fraction of what the dealer charges.

Check to make sure you're getting full voltage to the motor. The switches on the console have a tendency to degrade, and I think a lot of "sticky mechanism" problems can be solved by getting rid of the resistance in the switch.
