i really think i am buying this car. i just bought the Herald off this owner and he has this sitting back in the corner of his garage and he calls it Garage Art. sitting there drinking a few glasses of very good wine and looking at the Art sitting there i believe we came to a agreement on it becoming a piece of art i can put in my garage. here are a couple pics it should be easy for you guys to name the car
Renault 4CV. (Clearly, twice as much road-dominating power as a 2CV!)
Whatever rust translates to in french
Looks like a GT-40 through the rear quarter window.
RC (From the Transformers)

So roughly the power of a guinea pig vs. a couple of gerbles?
They raced them at Le Mans...

Looks like a Herb to me, maybe a Maude.
I was actually just going to say Herbert but then I realized it has too much in common with Herbie...but definitely an old-timey man's name. Eustace?
I would call her Charlotte, french for tiny and feminine.
However, much lke redheads are evolved from cats, I would be wary of what lies beneath. A rotary in the trunk or twin front and back KZ engines could easily hide beneath a demure exterior.

Sounds like it already has a name, and his name is "Garage Art", as in Arthur that is somehow associated with the Garage, possibly as opposed to "Grocery Store Art".
Guess who I ran into today?
I dunno, who?
Art!
Wait, which Art?
You know, Art. Art McIntire.
Art McIntire? Is that Art from your pilates class?
No, Art from the mechanic's.
Oh! Garage Art! Why didn't you just say so?

I went to high school with a girl named Charlotte that was a redhead. She was lanky and had bug-like eyes, so her nickname was Fire Mantis.
But anyway, that car looks interesting enough to drag home. Nice.
How bout something totally unfitting? Bruno, Thor,Zeus, Mongo,Hannible, etc?
this is a 1949 and in 1953 was put into a barn because it thru a rod out the side of the block. Mr Bell has owned it for 30 years. the interior paint is panzer paint. when the booty got split up after WWII the French got all the paint the Germans had and Renault got paint that was used to paint the panzer tanks that was used in North Africa. the seats and the headliner are super nice and there is only surface rust no rot the underside is really clean......if i told you guys what i am paying for it most of you would think something fell on my head but looking at this car in person and sitting in it is just so cool. my plans are just to get it running and wash it and drive it.......i really want to drive this car in the worst way
the deal is done.......here are some more pics and i got a lot of cool paperwork with it.....do i have to eat mayo on my fries now
