Dusterbd13 has three corvette wheels in North Carolina. He mailed me one due to a theif stealing one of my ghettocet wheels.
Due to the high cost of shipping we were hoping a challenger could grab the remaining wheels on the way down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Charlotte area is about an 8.5hr drive for me. I need to drop the kid off Tues morning so that means I can not be rolling until 9:15 am. With minimal stops and no traffic I would be pressed to be there by 7 pm
From Charlotte it is then still another 6.5 hrs on Weds to Gainesville so it does serve as a good midway point.
I did not call right away because I had not thought it out. Now that I have given it some thought, I'll reach out to you tommorow, Sunday but I'll text you first.

It'll be just me in a minivan. I have the room, I just need to make sure the SBC does not leak or that leaks can be contained.
I have no need for it myself but if you want it, heck, you're good for it, I'll even front the payment price for you (as I expect I will do for the rims also.)
My travel route will take me through Jax on Weds so I could deliver.
Remember, last year I picked up a Honda Trail 70 in Charleston, WV and put it in the trunk of the Infiniti Q45 (yeah it fit, dismantled) and delivered it to The Challenge.
Rims are paid for already, john. And Stampie can mail me a check for all I care. That sbc is as drained as I can make it.
Call me anytime today and we'll work it out. Dinner or breakfast is on me for a fellow grm member.

I think we should make it more about the gathering that the food.
I'm not real picky. Something "local". Something I can't get at home. What is the regional specialty? Carolina BBQ? Something else?
