Need to torque head bolts on a 1995 2.8l Audi engine, can't seem to find torque values or sequence. Anyone have access to all data or something with the right info?

Not right now, can get it tomorrow.  memory says 50 n-m plus 90 degrees with new bolts with the special fancy coating.  I wouldn't trust my memory though.

New bolts not sure about fancy coating. They are Audi OE

Wasn't able to get to work until today, much apologies for the delay.

Torque sequence is a small X then a big X, and the torque is 60nm plus 180 degrees. Two 90 degree turns is also acceptable.

Thank you so much! Couldn't find anything!

Four ugga duggas with a good impact.  Five if you want the head gaskets to seal really good.

In reply to Streetwiseguy :

In a previous life we used to talk about <racist> torque settings - wind it till it strips and back it off two flats ...

Pete, the motor mounts are square, but had a round phenolic spacer/washer between them and the arm. The spacer fits the bolt but the new ones have a little piece that juts out and doesn't allow it to sit flat. Do you know if there was a redesign?

Absolutely no idea, I have never seen a B4 in my life.

It's actually in a Cabriolet (are those still B4?), thanks though. Tried finding pics online but they all look like the new motor mounts.

Usually if there is a little nub sticking out next to a stud on a motor mount it's to make you orient the mount correctly to the engine or to the subframe. So, look at those and one of the things the mount is connecting between should have a hole/recess that matches that nub thing. Generally.

Yes, the old mounts didn't and had this little phenolic spacer. Doesn't work with the new one and I want to make sure it's right to leave it out. Can't find anything else about it though.
