The boss had a Cayman S as a loaner today, so he let me take it out for lunch. I have decided that my next car will be a Cayman S with the PDK. OK, so who wants to buy my kids? Or my wife? Or my liver?
PS - I have the greatest boss in the world.

Except that he parks in the handicap spots without a placard
If you happen to find the market for kids, wife, or liver make sure you share it here. I want a Cayman too

Actually, I parked it there. He had to get going, so it was a quick switch.
I have a 2006 Porsche Cayman S, it was the second one delivered in the state of FL.
Still one of my favorite cars to drive. Definitely a good choice
I'd very willingly take a Cayman S not many cars are as capable and focused in the right hands and still comfortable to enjoy driving everyday and posh enough to take out without giving off the sense that you sacrificed everything for the driving experience. If the want is there, but the funds aren't quite up to it, wait until the 718 comes out in 2016, it'll check all the marks from the driver's perspective.
Your boss made one MAJOR mistake. If you're going to buy a PDK Cayman, you HAVE to buy the Sport Design steering wheel.
Comes with the proper flappy paddles.
Cayman S
Sport suspension
Sport chrono package
Sport seats
PDK
That's exactly how I would order it. Looks like the MSRP on that would be $72,400.
Ouch
Cayman S Moton Pro M 500 131 Racetech seats Ceramic brakes and alcantara everywhere
$83000, eh we'll make it $90k to include the cage

Ditto that.
I just realize how hard it was to spec a Cayman S to be cheaper than a new Stingray Z51. Even the base Cayman is a challenge. All the car mags always compare the Corvette to the 911, but a more accurate face-off would be between the Stingray and the Cayman.

And think about how much easier it would be to change the plugs and air filter on the Stingray.
Still, love the Cayman.
My boss has a Cayman also, the plain one with auto/PDK? I'm about the only one in the office that he hasn't let drive it. Wonder why
I'm not a fan of PDK paddles at all. Completely counter intuitive to what I want to do. Good thing the 12 Cayman the dealer has is a 6-speed, but I haven't been able to drive it.
I've driven around an 08 Cayman base model with a Fabspeed exhaust and the sound is intoxicating. One of the few cars I want from the dealership I work at.
Oh crap. Avert eyes. Don't look at the pictures of Caymen S.
Too late. Thanks for reminding me I really want one of these. Although I'd probably go with a stick (if that's still possible).
Don't need more kids or a liver but I could use a new wife. What are her specs ??
Easy......... You asked, just a joke.
Love the Cayman. Between a new Cayman and M3 most testers seem to choose the Cayman. It might be close though, the extra 2 doors could come in handy.
I passengered in an S at an autox recently. It had just recieved 15k in turbo work and had 500+ whp. Even without the hp I was so impressed with the stick and it's truly a gorgeous car.
Ugh just saw a light silver '14 Cayman S on our way to dinner earlier.
I pine for that car, desperately.

Wait, I'm confused. Aren't all current Corvettes called Stingrays?
Yes, the current C7 is a Stingray but the Z51 package is the electronic limited slip diff and a couple of other suspension goodies.
